Welcome to the Las Vegas Petanque Club!
Our courts are at Trent Park, 8851 Vegas Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89128 by the Tennis Courts. Petanque is also played on the East side of Gardens Park, 10401 Garden Park Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89135, a twenty minutes’ drive from the Strip. We have about thirty members and at this time of the year we can meet Thursdays (about 9:00-9:30 AM) and Sundays (3:00 PM) at Trent Park, and Wednesday at 6:00 PM and Sunday at 4:00 PM at Gardens Park. We have many French speakers at the club, but we play speaking English, French or even Spanish. All events are friendly and followed by post games, drinks and snacks (BYO)!
New and experienced players are welcome to join; we have extra boules if you need them. After you have been playing at three different occasions, and if you live in Las Vegas over two months a year, you should join the Las Vegas Petanque Club for a small annual fee of $15. Otherwise since members have priority to play and teams fill up throughout the meetings you may not be able to play or finish a game.
Consider that a player’s license is issued by the Federation of Petanque USA, recognized by other member federations of the International Federation of Petanque and Jeu Provencal (FIPJP). Becoming a member shows that you share an interest in a sport popular throughout the world and support your local club. There are currently more than 600,000 licensed petanque players in 94 national federations, including more than 40 clubs in the United States. Having a player’s license issued by the FPUSA often makes it easier to get into a game with the locals in whatever country you happen to be. You will be able to compete, not only in all tournaments in the USA, but also in foreign countries (except during the National Championships of such countries).
ANNUAL FEES (January to December)
$15 FOR ADULTS, going to the Fédération of Pétanque USA (FPUSA).
$5 FOR CHILDREN UNDER 18, going to the FPUSA.

Hello Las Vegas Petanquers
We are invading Las Vegas 23 June to 29 June 2014 from the depths of a New Zealand winter to summer in Las Vegas and we find a petanque Club as well! I assume we just turn up at the time listed although we will not have boule with us. We are staying at Excalibur. How far is your Club from the strip? We play every Sunday, and on some weekdays, either at Trent Park or at Gardens Park. Both parks are about eight minutes away from one another. Please email back beforehand. There are games every Sunday, and some week days!
Be prepared for the heat of Las Vegas and bring headwear or sunglasses, and beverage.
